A banner will compose the top of STIP Viewer, and it will contain the application logo, public comment period messages, Quick Links, and Help.
Application Logo
In the leftmost corner of the banner, the STIP Viewer logo will be displayed, with the agency's name listed below.
Public Comment Period Messages
During certain periods of the STIP approval process, the State will post the Draft STIP, pending STIP Revision, or both for public comment. These public comment periods are instigated in STIP Manager, but the commenting will take place on the public-facing STIP Viewer. When either STIP is posted for public comment, a message will be displayed in the STIP Viewer banner. The content of the displayed message will be configurable by a System Administrator through the Configuration Settings, Config Values interface in STIP Manager. The message will be appended with the "Click here to filter and map the included projects" sentence and link.
If the "here" link is selected, the map and displayed data will automatically reflect the projects within the selected STIP or Revision. This allows the user to quickly filter the application; however, filtering can also be done manually through the Search Filters. Once selected, this link will update to read, "Click here to submit a general comment". This provides access to the "Submit Comment" pop-up for the user to submit a comment for the overall STIP. The Comment field is required on this pop-up, but the remaining fields (First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Request Response) are optional. If the user chooses to receive a response back, both their name and email must be entered. Once the "Submit" button is selected, this feedback will be sent to STIP Manager for the State's consideration.
If the user wishes to send feedback on a specific project, they can select that project on the map or in the Search Results table, then click the "Submit Comments" button on the project pop-up to enter its Submit Comment pop-up.
Note: The image above shows an example of the Submit Comment pop-up for a specific project (Control No. 4101030). If the Submit Comment pop-up was entered for the entire STIP, the Control No. field would read "None Selected".
Quick Links
When selected, the Quick Links icon will display a picklist of available resources related to STIP Viewer. The user can simply click on one of these options to be navigated to its associated URL.
Help
The Help icon is a link that will navigate the user directly to the STIP Viewer section of the state's Knowledge Base.
