The End of Year Analysis report is intended to provide a comparison of the planned Programmed Obligations to the actual Obligated Funds in the current or prior fiscal year. This report will only be available for the Active or a Historical STIP.
Filters
Once the user selects the End of Year Analysis report in the "Select Report" list, these filters will appear:

| Year | A picklist of the current Fiscal Year and any prior Fiscal Year with actual obligation data in the system; required. |
Generating the Report
To generate this report, the user can follow these steps:
- Click "End of Year Analysis" in the "Select Report" list (left side).
- Select a "Year" in the picklist.
- Click the "Submit" button.
If the user wishes to change the STIP before running the report, they can navigate to the STIP Selection picklist on the Main Menu. To export the report, the user can click the export icon (), then choose the export type (PDF, XLSX, DOCX).
Output
The generated report will include a list of all planned Programmed Obligations for the current Fiscal Year where Fund Type = Federal, and Subtype is either Federal – Highway (Subject to Limitation), Federal – Highway (Exempt from Limitation), or Federal – Highway (Other Allocated). This list will be grouped by Fund Type, Subtype, and Fund Source with headings at the top of each grouping. Each header will include a sum of the projects within the group and subtotals for the Unobligated and Obligated columns. Below each grouping's header will be the planned Programmed Obligations lines which are specified by these columns:

| Project ID | This is the Project ID from the STIP Detail interface. If no STIP Programmed obligations exist, but actual funds have been obligated, this will be the Federal Project No. from the FMIS Detail interface. |
| Project Program | This is the value from the Program field in the General information section on the STIP Detail interface. If no STIP Programmed obligations exist, this field will be blank. |
| Name | This is the Name from the STIP Detail interface. If no STIP Programmed obligations exist, but actual funds have been obligated, this will be the Project Title from the FMIS Detail interface. |
| Agency | This is the value from the Agency field in the General information section on the STIP Detail interface. If no STIP Programmed obligations exist, this field will be blank. |
| Unobligated (STIP) Federal Funds | This is the Total Federal Programmed Amount for the selected report year in the Funding Outlay if funds for this record have not been obligated in FMIS; otherwise, this value will be $0. |
| Obligated (FMIS) Federal Funds | This is the sum of Federal Funds from the FMIS Obligation Detail table for the selected report year if funds for this record have been obligated in FMIS; otherwise, this value will be $0. |
At the bottom of the table, there will be a Grand Total Programmed Obligations footer row that sums the values in the Agency (# of Projects), Unobligated (STIP) Federal Funds, and Obligated (FMIS) Federal Funds columns.
