The Annual List of Obligated Projects report is intended to provide a listing of all federally funded projects authorized in the current or prior fiscal year. This report will only be available for the Active or a Historical STIP.
Filters
Once the user selects the Annual List of Obligated Projects report in the "Select Report" list, these filters will appear:
| Filter | Description |
| Revision | A picklist of all revisions associated to the STIP/TIP selected in the STIP/TIP Selection picklist. |
| Year | A picklist of the current Fiscal Year and any prior Fiscal Year with actual obligation data in the system; required. |
| MPO | A picklist of all values in the MPO code list; returns all projects that are located within the selected MPO. |
| Fund Source | A picklist of all Federal Fund Sources grouped by Fund Subtype that the user can select to filter the report results. |
| Program | A picklist of all Programs that the user can select to filter the report results. |
Generate the Report
To generate this report, the user can follow these steps:
- Click "Annual List of Obligated Projects" in the "Select Report" list (left side).
- Select a "Year" in the picklist.
- Fill the other fields-- Revision, MPO/RTPO, Fund Source, and Program picklists-- to filter the report results if desired (OPTIONAL).
- Click the "Submit" button.
If the user wishes to change the STIP before running the report, they can navigate to the STIP Selection picklist on the Main Menu. To export the report, the user can click the export icon (), then choose the export type (PDF, XLSX, DOCX).
Output
The generated report will contain STIP Programmed Obligation records and all actual FMIS Obligation records. This data follows these rules:
- If a project includes STIP Programmed Obligations with linked actual FMIS Obligations, they will be reported on the same line.
- STIP Programmed Obligations with no linked actual FMIS Obligations will report on their own line.
- Actual FMIS Obligations with no linked STIP record will report on their own line.
A header rests at the top of the report which details the STIP Window, Version, Revision (if applicable), Report Name, and any Filters applied. Below the header will be a table with these columns:

| Federal Project No. | This is the Federal Project No. from the FMIS Detail interface used to authorize the project in FMIS. This field will be blank for any record with STIP Programmed Obligations but no linked actual FMIS Obligations. |
| Project ID | This is the Project ID from the STIP Detail interface used for STIP programming. This field will be blank for any record with actual FMIS Obligations and no linked STIP Programmed Obligations. |
| County | If the record has a Federal Project No., this is the County designation from the FMIS Detail interface; otherwise, this is the County designation from the STIP Detail interface. If the project crosses multiple counties, the report value will be "Multiple." |
| Project Title | If the record has a Federal Project No., this is the Project Title from the FMIS Detail interface; otherwise, this is the Name from the STIP Detail interface. |
| Description | If the record has a Federal Project No., this is the Description from the FMIS Detail interface; otherwise, this is the Description from the STIP Detail interface. |
| Agency | If the record has a Project ID, this is the Agency field from the STIP Detail interface; otherwise, this field will be blank. |
| Fund Source | If the record has a Project ID, this is the Fund Source field from the STIP Detail interface; otherwise, this field will be blank. |
| Total Cost | If the record has a Project ID, this is the Total Programmed Amount in the Project Funding table from the STIP Detail interface; otherwise, this field will be blank. |
| Remaining STIP Federal Amount | If the record has a Project ID, this is the Total Federal Programmed Amount in the Funding Outlay for any year greater than the current fiscal year. |
| FY XXXX STIP Federal Amount | If the record has a Project ID, this is the Total Federal Programmed Amount for the selected report year in the Funding Outlay. |
| Minus (-) | This column is for representation purposes only and is used to denote that the FY XXXX Obligated Federal Funds will be subtracted from the FY XXXX Federal Amount. |
| FY XXXX Obligated Federal Funds | If the record has a Federal Project No., this will be the sum of Federal Funds for the associated Fund Source from the FMIS Obligation Detail table for the selected report year. |
| Equals (=) | This column is for representation purposes only and is used to denote the calculation performed for the Variance column. |
| Variance | This is the FY XXXX STIP Federal Amount minus (-) the FY XXXX Obligated Federal Funds amount. |
| % Obligated | This is the FY XXXX Obligated Federal Funds divided (/) by the FY XXXX STIP Federal Amount. This percentage will be displayed as XXX% with no decimals. |
At the bottom of the table, there will be a Total Programmed Obligations footer row that sums the values in the Total Cost, FY XXXX STIP Federal Amount, FY XXXX Obligated Federal Funds, and Variance amount columns.
