A banner will compose the top of TIP Viewer, and it will contain the application logo, public comment period messages (if applicable), Quick Links, and Help.
Application Logo
In the leftmost corner of the banner, the STIP Viewer logo will be displayed, with the agency's name listed below.
Public Comment Period Messages
During certain periods of the STIP approval process, the State will post the Draft TIP, pending TIP Revision, or both for public comment. These public comment periods are instigated in TIP Manager, but the commenting will take place on the public-facing TIP Viewer. When either TIP is posted for public comment, a message will be displayed in the TIP Viewer banner. The content of the displayed message will be configurable by a System Administrator through the Configuration Settings, Config Values interface in TIP Manager. The message will be appended with the "Click here to filter and map the included projects" sentence and link.
If the "here" link is selected, the map and displayed data will automatically reflect the projects within the selected TIP or Revision. This allows the user to quickly filter the application; however, filtering can also be done manually through the Search Filters. Once selected, this link will update to read, "Click here to submit a general comment". This provides access to the "Submit Comment" pop-up for the user to submit a comment for the overall TIP. The Comment field is required on this pop-up, but the remaining fields (First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Request Response) are optional. If the user chooses to receive a response back, both their name and email must be entered. Once the "Submit" button is selected, this feedback will be sent to TIP Manager for the State's consideration.
If the user wishes to send feedback on a specific project, they can select that project on the map or in the Search Results table, then click the "Submit Comments" button on the project pop-up to enter its Submit Comment pop-up.
Quick Links
When selected, the Quick Links icon will display a picklist of available resources related to TIP Viewer. The user can simply click on one of these options to be navigated to its associated URL.
Help
The Help icon is a link that will navigate the user directly to the TIP Viewer section of the state's Knowledge Base.
