Change Summary

The Change Summary section will only be available if a project has been modified; this section will appear below the Remarks & Signatures section on the FMIS Detail tab if applicable. The Change Summary will compare the current (approved) version of the FMIS Project to the pending version for each editable field. This section will be collapsed by default, but it can be expanded using the caret on the ribbon header.

Change Summary Table

The columns that define the Change Summary table are:

FieldDescription
Value ChangedThe value that was changed.
Current ValueThe value of the field from the current (approved) version of the FMIS project; this value will be a hyperlink, allowing the user to quickly view these records.
Pending ValueThe value of the field from the pending version of the project; this value will be a hyperlink, allowing the user to quickly view these records.
Variance

For Obligation Detail changes, this field will be automatically calculated by the system as Pending Value - Current Value. It will then follow this logic:

  • If the Variance is a positive value (addition of funds), the Variance in the Total Cost row will be denoted with a "+" and shown in green.
  • If the Variance is a negative value (removal of funds), the Variance in the Total Cost row will be denoted with a "-" and shown in red.

For Project and Location changes, this field will be blank.
