The STIP Funding section lies below the Documents section on the FMIS Detail tab. The STIP Funding section displays the approved Funding records for the associated STIP Project(s). This table will be version controlled, so when the user views historical versions of a FMIS project, the STIP Funding table will be a snapshot of the approved STIP funding from the date the version was authorized.
Half Pane Setup
In the half-pane view, the funding entries will appear below the ribbon header in rolled-up subsections based on Work Phase. Each entry here will be composed of Work Phase (subsection header), Start Year (subsection header), Programmed Amount, Federal Amount, Non-Federal Amount, Prior, STIP, and Future values.
Full Pane Setup
The user can click the icon to view this section in full-pane mode. This format will show the funding information in a table format. All columns here are read-only, except the checkbox. The columns on this table are:

| Checkbox (symbol) | This tool can be used to obligate funds. |
| Work Phase | The detailed Work Phase from the STIP Funding table. Detailed work phases are rolled up into Parent Work Phases and grouped together. |
| Program | The Program from the STIP Funding table. |
| Fund Source | The Fund Source from the STIP Funding table. |
| Match Source | If the funding record has a Federal Fund Source, this column will be the matching Fund Source for the record from the STIP Funding table. |
| Match % | If the funding record has a Federal Fund Source, this column will be the match percentage for the record from the STIP Funding table; otherwise, this column will be blank. |
| AC | If the funding record has a Federal Fund Source, this column will indicate whether the record is AC (Advance Construction) or ACC (Advance Construction Conversion). |
| Start Year | The Start Year for the funding record from the STIP Funding table. |
| Programmed Amount | The Total Programmed Amount for the funding record from the STIP Funding table. |
| AC Amount | The Advanced Construction for the funding record from the STIP Funding table. |
| Federal Amount | The Federal Programmed Amount for the funding record from the STIP Funding table. |
| Non-Federal Amount | The Non-Federal Programmed Amount for the funding record from the STIP Funding table. |
| Cash Flow Type | Indicates how the Total Programmed Amount for the funding record is allocated across years. |
| No. of Years | The number of Years the Total Programmed Amount for the funding record is allocated. |
Obligate Funds
The user can obligate funds in the STIP Funding section using the table rows' checkboxes. Only checkboxes for STIP funding records (rows) where the Start Year equals the Current Fiscal Year can be selected for obligation. Multiple records can be selected at the same time if they have the same Work Phase and Federal Fund Source. Non-Federal Fund Sources for the same Work Phase can be selected with any Federal Fund Source record. Once the user selects the desired rows' checkboxes, they can click the "Obligate Funds" button below the table to create new Obligation Detail records for the selected STIP Funding lines.
