The Remarks & Signatures section lies below the Other Information section on the FMIS Detail tab. The Remarks & Signatures section allows State users to add Pending and State Agreement remarks and signatures to a pending project as well as review Division Agreement remarks and signatures. This section will be collapsed by default, but it can be expanded using the caret on the ribbon header.
Fields
The setup for the Remarks & Signatures section is the same in both half-pane and full-pane mode. It is composed of these subsections and fields:
| Fields | Description |
|---|---|
| Initial Information | Modification # - The number of modifications to the project. Project First Updated By - The name of the user who initiated the Pending version. Timestamp - The date and time the modification was initially created. |

| State Agreement Document Remarks | State comments that will be stored with the project. |
| State Signatures | Available Funds Certified By - The name of the State signer that certifies funds were available for obligation; includes the date and time. All information related to Signatures is view-only; however, "Sign" buttons will be visible next to the subsequent signature required when a project is in a Pending state. The signature process is sequential, so only a single Sign button will be displayed at a time.
Signatures
When the Sign button is selected, the user will receive a confirmation message and will be required to enter their PIN. Once submitted, the "Sign" button will be removed, and the user’s name and the signature date will be updated accordingly. If the user who initially signed the project has permissions to sign the first and second State signatures, both signatures will automatically be applied simultaneously. All three State signatures cannot be signed by the same user. Once the third and final State signature has been entered and saved into the system, the user will receive a confirmation, indicating that the single project will be submitted to FMIS.
Signatures can also be removed in this section. If the user editing the project was the last user to sign, they will have an "Un-Sign" button that will facilitate removing their State signature. Signatures can only be removed by the user who originally signed.
