Our partnership with New Mexico seeks to provide the Department of Transportation (DOT) and their associated Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) with our STIP Core software. STIP Core is a comprehensive suite designed to simplify the planning, approval, and management of transportation projects. Built for state DOTs, this solution streamlines collaboration, enhances public transparency, and ensures compliance with federal funding requirements. Its suite features are threefold:
- STIP Manager: Create and manage STIPs
- STIP Viewer: Public STIP project transparency
- FMIS Module: Manage federal aid projects from STIP Manager
This unique set can also include MPO-specific integrations:
- TIP Manager: Create and manage TIPs
- TIP Viewer: Public TIP project transparency
STIP Manager
STIP Manager is the foundation of STIP Core, enabling DOTs to create, amend, and manage the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). Multiple STIPs can be created, managed, and modified from this platform, including Active (one supported), Draft (one supported), Scenario (multiple supported), and Historical (multiple supported) STIPs. With flexibility tailored to meet your organization's specific needs, STIP Manager is your go-to tool for smarter planning and better results. Specifically, STIP Manager includes these interfaces to help with the various aspects of STIP creation and maintenance:
| Interfaces | Description |
| Map | The Map module provides users with an Esri-based map front-end that allows them to search for and view projects. |
| Budgets | The Budgets module allows users to enter both Fiscal Constraint and Program Target information. |
| Projects | The Projects module allows users to view, modify, or add new STIP Projects. This module includes a record of all related projects to the selected project and all changes made to the current project. |
| Actions | The Actions module hosts the workflow for managing changes to the Active version of the STIP. This module includes the ability to process changes through the Staging, Pre-Approved, and Revisions tabs to gather the appropriate approval. It also stores a historical record of all changes. |
| Dashboard | The Dashboard module can be used to facilitate the Baseline Reporting that the STIP Bureau provides to both FHWA and their Commission. This interface allows users to track and monitor STIP Programmed/Planned Obligations against FMIS Actual Obligations for the current Federal Fiscal Year. |
| Reports | The Reports module allows users to view STIP Manager data through a selection of pre-formatted Standard Reports or create Advanced Reports with custom inputs and outputs. |
| FMIS | The FMIS module allows the privileged user to create, modify, and store data related to financial obligations. |
Administration control is also embedded in STIP Manager, including the creation and management of security roles, fund sources, and program categories to configure the application to NMDOT's needs. STIP Manager covers all of the DOTs needs, from background configuration to project maintenance. It is the hub that all STIP Core products come from and point to.
