When the Projects module is first entered, the user will land on the Projects tab. This tab hosts a table of all projects within the selected STIP/TIP.
Full Pane
The Projects tab will initially open in a half-pane view. However, as mentioned in the Projects article, the user can view any tab in full pane mode if desired. To open the Projects tab in this mode, the user can click the icon. Then, the tab will display all columns in the Projects table, eliminating the need to scroll horizontally.
Filter By
The Quick Search filters appear at the top of the interface and are used to narrow the projects displayed on the table and map. Once one of these options is selected, a second field will become available for specification. The table and map will automatically update once the second Quick Search field has a value. These Quick Search filters will be available in the "Filter By" picklist:
| Quick Search Filter | Second Field Description |
| Project ID | This is a text field that can be used to enter the Project ID in whole or in part. |
| County | This is a picklist of all values in the County code list. This filter will be used to return all projects that are located within the selected County. |
| District | This is a picklist of all values in the District code list. This filter will be used to return all projects that are located within the selected District. |
| MPO/RTPO | This is a picklist of all values in the MPO/RTPO code list. This filter will be used to return all projects that are located within the selected MPO/RTPO. |
| Key Word | This is a text field that can be used to perform a wildcard search across all Project General, Custom, and Location fields. |
| Pending Changes | This is a picklist of all Change Types (Amendment, Administrative Modification, and Technical Correction), including an "All" and "None" option, that will filter the list of projects for any Pending Changes. This filter is only available when the Active STIP/TIP is selected. |
Filters Button
Alternatively, the user can click the "Filters" icon to filter the table. This option opens a pop-up that allows the user to specify a string of criteria. To do this, the user can fill the Columns, Operator, and Value fields. The Projects table will update automatically as rows are filled. Multiple rows can be added for the criteria using the "Add Filter" button. These filters will be retained, even after the user logs out or leaves this interface. To remove this criteria, the user can delete the rows individually () or all at once (
).
View Inactive Projects
If the user wishes to view inactive projects in the table results, they can toggle the "Include Removed" radio button on. This selection will automatically update the table to include inactive projects.
Table
The Projects table will list key information about the listed projects. If a row is selected here, the row will be highlighted (gray), and the map will toggle to its location.
Add Project
The "Add Project" button rests in the upper righthand corner of the Projects tab. Only users with the Add Projects permission will see this button and be able to utilize it. Once clicked, this tool will navigate the user to a blank Detail tab that allows the user to create a new project for the selected STIP/TIP. For more details on this process, visit the Add Project article.
Add/Remove Columns
The user has the ability to add and remove column types from the table. To do this, the user can click on the three dots () beside one of the headers. Then, they can select "Manage columns". This opens a menu with a list of all available columns. On this list, the user can choose to display a column type (check) or hide a column type (uncheck). Updates to the table automatically apply as changes are made.

The Projects tab will also contain other tools and elements, including:
