The EGIS Viewer displays 4 functional areas upon entry: (1) Quick Search Menu, (2) Map Frame, (3) Main Menu, and (4) Map and Interactive Controls. Each of these are shown in the image below, with corresponding numbers to the list above.

(1) Quick Search Menu

The Quick Search Menu is used to select from filter categories to search for business data on NMDOT’s route network. All related data will be mapped once the "Search" button is selected.

(2) Map Frame

The Map Frame displays NMDOT’s route network and query results in graphic form. A variety of controls for the Map Frame permit the user to zoom to an area of interest if desired.

(3) Main Menu

The Main Menu provides five capabilities: filter query criteria by business area, open other viewing applications, access standard and advanced reporting functions, edit system administration (for privileged users), and manage queries.

(4) Map and Interactive Controls

The Map and Interactive Controls contain a variety of methods to interact with the EGISViewer Map Frame.
