The Project Details section is initially expanded when the user first enters the Project Detail tab.

Full Pane

The image above shows the Project Details section in a half-pane view. The user can click the mceclip4.png icon to view this section in full-pane mode.

 

Fields

These fields will be available in this section of the Detail tab:

FieldDescription
NameThis is a textbox that can be used to enter a name/title for the project.
Project DescriptionThis is a textbox that can be used to enter a description for the project.
Project StatusThis picklist contains the values from the Project Status code list.
Group ProjectThis picklist contains two options, Yes and No, which signifies if the project is a group project. 
AgencyThis picklist contains the values from the Project Agency code list.
Other IDThis is a textbox that can be used by the state to house an associated ID for the project.
ModeThis picklist contains the values from the Mode code list.
ProgramThis picklist contains the values from the Program code list.
Work TypeThis picklist contains all values in the Project Work Type code list.
Project EstimateThis is an integer field that can be used to enter the estimated total cost for the project.
Project OversightThis picklist contains all values in the Project Oversight code list.
Project Manager

This picklist contains the values from the Project Manager code list. Users can view information about the currently selected Project Manager (PM) or add a new PM to the system from this field.

  1. View Information about PM - The information icon beside the Design Engineer field () allows the user to view the contact information for the currently selected PM. Once clicked, a pop-up will appear that lists the PM's name, email address, and phone number. Changes can be made to this information from the pop-up and solidified using the "Save" button.
  2. Add a new PM - The "Add New" icon () allows the user to add a new PM to the system and immediately designate them as the PM for the currently displayed project. Once clicked, a pop-up will appear with blank name, email address, and phone number fields. The save function creates the PM.

Some additional fields may also appear in the Project Details section that are custom to the state.
