The User Menu icon opens a picklist of three options: open User Settings, About, or Log Out.
User Settings
User Settings can be used to manage certain attributes, notification settings, and preferences specific to the current user. Once selected in the picklist, its interface will appear on the screen.
This interface will automatically be toggled to the "Settings" tab. The information stored in this tab is the user's First Name, Last Name, Username, Email, Phone Number, Email Notifications Status, Security Group, Location Privileges, and PIN. The First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone Number values can be edited if desired by clicking into the appropriate field and typing a new value. The "Enable Email Notifications" toggle is also editable here. If toggled on, all system notifications and actions initiated in the application will also be delivered to the user’s email as well as shown in the Notifications area within the system. If any changes are made in this tab, the "Save" button will appear and must be selected to solidify them, or the "Cancel" button must be selected to revert them to their original values.
The second tab on this interface, "Preferences", allows the user to set the Color Mode for the application. The user can view the application in Light Mode, Dark Mode, or set it to "System", meaning the application's appearance will follow the standard system settings. A selection here will automatically update the application.
About
The About option on the User Menu picklist includes information about the application's Version, Build, and database connection string (Data Source). At the base of this pop-up, the username and ID of the current user can also be found. The screenshot below shows the STIP Manager version of this pop-up, but it will look similar on the TIP Manager application.
Log Out
The Log Out option on the User Menu picklist logs the user out of the application and places them back on the welcome screen.
