Any project with programmed funding within the current STIP/TIP window may be shown on the map if location information has been provided. The Map Filters sidebar allows the user to perform map queries and plot projects based on the given filters. It can be opened on the lefthand side of the application using the caret icon.
Select Projects for Display
The top of the Map Filters sidebar has three radio buttons: None, All, and Filter. The user's selection here will determine which projects will be displayed on the map. "None" will return no projects on the map while "All" will map all projects. If "Filter" is selected, the user can specify which projects to show by filling in one or more fields below these radio buttons. There will be some fields available in the initial configuration; however, the available fields can be altered by a System Administrator or TIP Coordinator through Configuration Settings, Field Settings. The image below shows an example of the Map Filters.
Refresh Map
Once the desired fields have values, the "Refresh Map" button can be selected. This button will add the relevant projects to the map. Projects will be mapped for the STIP/TIP selected in the STIP/TIP list on the Main Menu. If the Active STIP/TIP is selected, all pending changes will be included in the project results.
Save for Initial Display
If the "Save for Initial Display" checkbox is selected before clicking "Refresh Map", the currently displayed projects will be displayed each time the application is opened in the future.
